When Does the Next Course Begin?

We teach Aikido not as a scheduled curriculum, but as a stream of experiences. There is no next course. A person simply starts when they are ready. It is our experience that the new student makes the best progress by simply jumping in and getting his or her feet wet. A beginner can do the practices that they can cope with and sit out those they are not ready for.

Kids’ Class

The kids’ class was created by the persistent interest of parents wanting an alternative martial arts experience for their children. The class is kept small and informal by design with an emphasis on learning and fun. Parents are encouraged to join in. The age level is around 7 to 9 but this is not a strict range. This class is seasonal and usually runs from November to June. However, the kids’ class is currently on-hold due to the time constraints of the instructor’s schedule.

Tue: 6:00pm to 7:00pm – Basics
Tue: 7:00pm to 8:00pm – Intermediate / Advanced
Wed: 6:30pm to 8:00pm (On-Hold)
Fri: 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Sat: 10:00am to 11:00am – Basics
Sat: 11:00am to 12:00noon (Open Mat)
